Global Head of Marketing

Damian brings more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience to his role as Global Head of Marketing at Liquidnet. In this position, he is responsible for setting the strategic marketing direction for the firm, while supporting and positioning the company’s various business areas to drive maximum customer value and growth. Liquidnet’s marketing strategy hinges on reimagining established conventions. By utilizing creativity and innovation, Liquidnet’s Global Marketing team strives to remain at the cutting edge of marketing in financial services.

Damian brings extensive asset management experience, marketing communications insight, and a global perspective to his role. He joined Liquidnet's London office in 2008 as Head of Marketing in EMEA before being promoted in 2010 to lead Liquidnet’s global marketing function out of its headquarters in New York. Prior to joining Liquidnet, Damian was a Director of Marketing Communications at Perpetual Investments in Sydney, Australia, where he led the communications program for their Private Clients business, working extensively with leadership, portfolio managers, and analysts to drive growth. Before Perpetual, Damian was a Director of Marketing at Advance Asset Management, part of the St George Bank Group, also in Sydney. In this role, he developed marketing strategies and programs for Advance’s national network of financial advisers, and was a key driver of Advance’s brand repositioning. Prior to that, Damian held several senior Marketing roles at Invesco, in both Australia and Canada, and at Hudson in Melbourne, Australia.

Damian holds a Bachelor of Business (Communication) from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
