Electronifying the full lifecycle of the bond: New issuance

While the bond issuance process is historically manual, Liquidnet continues to challenge and change that by bringing electronification to the full lifecycle of a bond. Global Head of Fixed Income Sales, Nichola Hunter, sat down with Trader TV’s Dan Barnes at the Fixed Income Leaders Summit, 2022 to discuss Liquidnet’s three step solution that improves the efficiency of the bond issuance workflow.

Liquidnet’s Primary Markets solution captures on average 80% of Europe’s daily new issuance announcements. Leveraging established partnerships and connectivity, Liquidnet has created a much-enhanced and more seamless approach to enable asset managers to see and act on new issues faster and more efficiently. This brings added benefits for Portfolio Managers, who are able to raise and send their orders to the trader directly from their order/execution management system (O/EMS).
